Not everyone is happy with the new draft constitution of Ivory Coast. Those opposing the Ouattara led draft document organized to demonstrate in the capital Abidjan engaging with the country’s security authorities who tear gassed and arrested some of them.
Now, the draft constitution is due for a referendum vote on the 29th of October, Ivory Coast’s main opposition coalition last week called on voters to boycott the referendum, security agencies insisted yesterday that the protesters had no permission to protest in the streets of the capital.
